Bolero Duisburg in Duisburg

Last week I went to eat there with my wife. Very relaxed atmosphere with delicious food. The only criticism was the size of the starter salad.

Super delicious food, great hygiene concept during the pandemic. Unfortunately the waiter didn't have that much time for us, but we got a coffee as an apology ? super friendly staff

Food good very good. It takes a long time until drinks come, if they come, unfortunately, very long. Service pleads for a wrongly written drink and does not bring the right one. It is a pity that the restaurant would be happy to recommend it to others as it was very tasty!

The food was good, as were the cocktails. The service: 1 meal / out of 4 did not come, a drink only after the other 3 had finished drinking ... We had the feeling that nobody felt responsible for our table.

What I can truly approve of are the desserts. My boyfriend and I have been there for the fourth time and have tried a bit new every time we visit. From our point of view, a visit to the restaurant is highly recommended. The staff are always very hard-working and always friendly! We think the restaurant is suitable for everyone Occasions irrelevant whether with colleague, friends or family; ).

I wanted to eat pasta with prawns, they only had the shell. How do they imagine that? That I eat the pasta with the cutlery first, then peel the shrimp with my bare hands? The menu offers u. a. Mojito as a cocktail, the mint is typically a component of the cocktail, which means that mint leaves are added to the glass. I wanted mineral water with mint, it wasn't possible. This rethinking was apparently too much for the waiters.

The food was delicious as well as the cocktails. But service and hygiene are not possible. Waiting time for the cocktail between 45 and 90 minutes !!! When asked, you get the answer that the drinks are on the way. Which then takes what feels like an eternity. Tables are not wiped and plates are only cleared an hour after eating. Our glasses weren't even cleared away, new orders were simply placed next to them. The staff is friendly as long as you don't ask them about the long waiting times. Glasses sticky, but not from your own drink! 1x here and never again.

I went to the Bolero for the first time today. The enthusiasm I felt at the beginning evaporated very quickly. The food was delicious and brought to the table in a regular waiting time. Unfortunately, in the further course of the evening a lot was no longer acceptable. Toilets unclean. Plates are cleared after more than an hour. Glasses are practically collected on your own table. Waiting time for drinks of over an hour. Service staff sits between the guests and smokes + drinks schnapps. Very dubious! Unfortunately, never again.

I've been visiting the place for many years. Unfortunately, the service is getting worse. Waiters were rude. Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that very few employees there enjoy their jobs. We had to remind them several times that we waited almost 30 minutes for a juice spritzer. It's a shame, we won't be back just because of the poor service

Great evening with delicious cocktails and nachos. The shop was jam-packed and the waitress didn't quite catch up, but was still very nice. The only thing that bothered you was a pungent smell that you had in your nose all evening. That was really not nice. It was addressed but nothing happened. Therefore only 4 stars, but a clear recommendation for cocktails and good music.

The Bolero is very nicely located with a view of the Duisburg inner harbor and has a large outdoor area. The cocktails are delicious. Take a seat and enjoy on mild summer evenings.

Delicious cocktails and other drinks. We didn't eat food! The only strange thing was that they were only allowed to serve 0.4 l of beer outside and not 0.2 l ... because of Corona ... the waitress said herself, nobody understands why that is!

Had chicken burger...it was yummy, the American fries were good too. My husband had the veggie burger, he didn't find it too special. The staff was friendly and the service was good overall!

The evening was very nice, the food was delicious. Drinks no matter what taste very good, unfortunately only 4 stars, as the tide was often low in the glasses. Sometimes you waited 20 minutes for a new drink. But otherwise everything was fine.

We wanted to eat outside because it was very warm. Unfortunately, we had to look for another place quickly because it was raining a little and the employees closed their umbrellas. We then quickly had a new table, but you had the feeling that nobody feels responsible for serving us. 6 different employees constantly walked along to our table and asked us again and again whether we had already been served. We replied "no, we haven't ordered yet" and the staff kept going and saying that they weren't responsible for our table. 40 minutes passed before we could finally order. (It wasn't really full) Food was okay. But the toilets looked worse than a train station toilet. We also took a break next to our table. So smoked cigarettes while we were eating, the staff stood at our table and were smoking. What a shame. The evening was over for us. In addition, most of the employees sat at other tables and ate and drank there.

Very nice, stylishly furnished location, on the back you sit with a great view of the inner harbor. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the staff is attentive and quick, you can meet here for a drink.

Great ambience and great location. The service was super nice and we enjoyed the food. If the weather is nice, have a cocktail outside by the water - what more do you need? We enjoyed the evening.

Even the one star is too much. Just went there with 2 friends. The food came only after more than 1 hour and then only 2 of 3 ordered dishes, which were also miserable. Similar things happened at the table next to and in front of us. All received the same memorized answer: "The kitchen is informed, your food will come immediately" or "the food is already out, we don't know which table, your food will come immediately". After my dish was still not there when my friends had already finished, I ordered it completely off. "May I bring you a dessert then?" I was asked in all seriousness. For the bill we had to 3! Ask until she came after 45 minutes. Never again.

Great food nice terrace and a nice area innenhafe

The food was okay, but the service, specifically from one senior waitress, was horrible, including shouting at us, being super late with our orders, and with the bill too. When we politely mentioned that we have a train to catch, she shouted loudly again at us "Everyone has a 'Termin' to catch!!!" and had to go by myself inside to leave her the money which annoyed her. Maybe she had some problems that day, but better solve them rather than exploding her anger at customers!

We changed the table after asking one of the serving person. She served the beers on new table and there comes another serving staff and asks us how you could change the places without even asking cz the booking system gets complicated when someone changes the tables. She was utterly unfriendly and even after explaining to her that her colleague said ok and that's why we changed the place, she kept on arguing. We experienced Extremely unfriendly and time consuming service.

Unimpressive food, slow service

Good place in the middle of the Port in Duisburg. The prices are fine and you can get good food as well.

This restaurant is just beside the old harbour area. The adjacent waterbody makes the wonderful mesmerizing atmoaphere. Wide varieties of drinking options as well as wonderful food dishes including starters, maincourse and deserts will make your day for sure. Beside that energetic customer friendly staff will add points in your experience.

Service is fast and staff is responsive. Their portions are big. Nachos and desserts is like it's being served for two people. Since they're using sliced cheese over nachos, to melt the cheese they bake them. Since this is sliced cheese, it has a lot of salt. They give a American cheese colour dip with this which makes it look like nachos are served with American yellow cheese which they're not.

The location is nice on the inner harbor. Lots of outside seating. Menu is varied but focused on a mix of American, German and TexMex. Service was a little slow but we weren't in a rush. Not many restaurant choices on this side of the harbor as several have shut down. The food is good but not worth a special trip. Come to enjoy a drink by the water and have a snack then walk to altstadt along the old City wall back toward the Rathaus.

Good place in evening

I would recommend this place for their Happy Hours (5-7pm) and also for a well proced jumbo drinks. You get 500ml for just 9.9 euro. Place is packed in the evening

Huge cocktail selection. Food is reasonably priced and the portions are massive. It was tasty and the service was great.
